As the Department of Education (DepEd) “aims to inculcate a culture of excellence in its delivery of quality, accessible , relevant and liberating education for the Filipino learners,” it has developed its own Manual of Style (DMOS), 2018 Edition, that prescribes language style, format and usage based on The Chicago Manual of Style to be used by the department. Aside from this manual, the department also just released the Service Marks and Visual Identity Manual (DSVMVIM), 2018 Edition.
This manual serves as a guide and reference for DepEd personnel invloved in styling and formatting DepEd issuances and other official documents.
