DepEd Releases School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2021-2022

As of first week of August, Deped has finally released the DepEd Order Number 029, series of 2021, known as the School Year 2021-2021 School Calendar. We have mentioned from the previous post that they tentatively announced schedules.

Through the recommendation of Secretary Leonor Magtolis-Briones, President Duterte approved the proposed opening of class on September 13, 2021. The school year will consist of 209 school days, as it ends on June 24, 2022.

Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela will be conducted by respective public schools in preparation for the opening of classes. These activities focus on information campaign and partnership strengthening.
