Boost Literacy Skills: Join the 2025 National Training of Trainers for Teachers & School Leaders

Are you a teacher or school leader passionate about improving literacy among young learners? The Department of Education (DepEd) SOCCSKSARGEN Region invites you to participate in the National Training of Trainers (NToT) for the Literacy Remediation Program (LRP), a transformative initiative designed to support Grade 3 learners identified as Low Emerging Readers based on the 2024-2025 CRLA results. Organized by the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) and the Office of the Undersecretary for Operations, this training will equip regional training teams to cascade the LRP to schools across the Philippines, empowering educators to make a lasting impact on literacy education.
The NToT will take place at NEAP Baguio City, with sessions scheduled for teachers from April 27 to 29, 2025, and for school leaders from April 30 to May 2, 2025. Selected participants include Master Teachers and school leaders from various Schools Division Offices (SDOs) in the SOCCSKSARGEN Region, such as Sultan Kudarat, General Santos, Tacurong, Koronadal, Kidapawan, Sarangani, South Cotabato, and Cotabato. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with fellow educators and gain practical skills to address literacy challenges.
To join, register individually by April 23, 2025, through this link: Register for NToT 2025. Slots are limited, so act fast! Before attending, prepare by reviewing the LRP materials, including Remediation Activity Sets (RAS), Learner Activity Sheets (LAS), and instructional guides, available for free download at: Access LRP Resources. These resources will help you familiarize yourself with the program and maximize your training experience.
The Literacy Remediation Program is a critical step toward addressing literacy challenges among Grade 3 learners.
