My Huawei D15 laptop suddenly stopped recognizing the mp4 format videos I downloaded from my DJI Mavic Air 2 drone. The required codec HEVC has been required to be installed. Windows 10 supports video files encoded with High-Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC).
However, Microsoft charges for its official codecs and doesn’t include them in Windows 10. You can get them for almost a dollar from Microsoft Store! This should not be since I run my machine with a licensed Windows 10 Pro Operating System.
If you ever encounter such issue, you must be able to get it for free from this cloud folder. It’s legit and working well for me.

Hi Jane, ang linaw ng video ay dumidepende sa resolution nito. Ang codec ay para lamang ma-play ng iyong computer ang video.
