Implementation of RMPS-PPST Tools for School Year 2022-2023: Downloadable Multi-year Guidelines for DepEd Teachers
The Multiyear Guidelines for the Results-based Performance Management System (RPMS-PPST), also known as DepEd Memorandum 008, Series of 2023, is a new set of policies and guidelines that aims to ensure that DepEd teachers will be rewarded and recognized for their outstanding performance. The requirements for the RPMS-PPST are outlined in this document, along with the precise actions teachers must take to submit an application for the performance-based bonus. This memo also describes the management’s duties and responsibilities in ensuring the RPMS-PPST system’s successful adoption.
The DepEd has made significant progress in appreciating the effort and commitment of its instructors with the implementation of the RPMS-PPST system. It is intended that this program would improve teachers’ overall working circumstances and provide them with the drive to keep being the best instructors they can be. DepEd instructors may be confident that they will be rewarded for their diligence, commitment, and quality thanks to the RPMS-PPST system, which is currently in effect.
RPMS-PPST covers the adoption and implementation of the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) into the Results-Based Performance Management System (RPMS) for teachers. This memorandum provides the procedures and other necessary information for the performance management and appraisal of teachers. It also details the timeline for the next three school years, SY 2022-2023, SY 2023-2024, and SY 2024-2025 .
