DepEd National Uniforms for Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel for School Year 2019-2020

Unverified and unreliable news regarding the uniform of teachers and non-teaching personnel are now again spreading on social media like wildfire. it was not exactly clear whether there’s a new set of uniforms to be implemented this coming school year 2019-2020. Thanks to the immediate release of the DepEd Memorandum that clarifies everything regarding the matter mentioned.

Below is the newly release memorandum which will guide and help our colleagues in the department to disseminate the correct and reliable information. “

“In view of this, the Department of Education (DepEd) announces that the
National Uniforms for Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel for School Year (SY) 2019-2020 shall remain the same as that of SY 2016-2017,” the memorandum states.

Furthermore, the annual clothing and uniform allowance in the amount of Six Thousand Pesos (P6,000) shall be released to all personnel, subject to existing accounting and auditing rules and regulations, and upon the release of the Notice of Cash Allocation from DBM.
